ZTE Corporation, a leading provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, recently announced plans to make life ‘easier, freer and trendier’ for consumers through a 3G strategy that would put together Telecom and IT with 3G lifestyle. The company intends to launch new 3G terminal products developed for TD-SCDMA, CDMA and WCDMA networks, and puts them into nine terminal categories and 40 product types.

According to the company, the new line of 3G devices includes wireless phones, typical mobile phones, home gateways, modules, wireless walkie-talkies, netbooks, monitors and digital photo frames, as well as data cards.

“We have been testing 3G devices and applications over the years and today it is being gradually applied in several key aspects of our daily lives. ZTE not only provides the best communication equipment to customers worldwide, but also upholds the idea of enabling consumers to enjoy a 3G lifestyle in an ‘easier, freer and trendier’ manner,” said Mr. He Shiyou, executive vice president of ZTE and general manager of ZTE Handset Division.

The company also announced that it intended to support the promotion of 3G lifestyle and that its technological resources had been devoted to the introduction of attractive 3G applications.
