Chinese mobile phone maker ZTE is reportedly gearing up for the launch of a new smartphone powered by Google’s Android operating system, namely the ZTE Blade C V807.

The new device is expected to pack the 4.1 Jelly Bean OS on top, while being aimed at the low end of the market, and has already received Bluetooth certification.

The phone will hit shelves with a 4-inch WVGA display on the front, as well as with a dual-core 1 GHz MediaTek MTK 6577 processor inside, complemented by 512MB of RAM.

The specifications list of the handset also includes 4GB of internal memory, a 1,600 mAh battery, a 3-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and support for 3G networks.

According to a recent post on UnwiredView, ZTE is set to make the new smartphone available in Europe, though no specific info on the countries that will receive it has been provided as of now.
