Two new Android-based devices from Chinese handset vendor ZTE are now available for purchase in Hong Kong, namely the ZTE Blade C and Blade III Pro, the latest reports on the matter suggest.

The two smartphones feature quite affordable price tags, yet have appealing hardware specs to offer to those who will choose to buy them.

The Blade C, for example, is available for purchase with a 4-inch WVGA screen and with a 1GHz dual-core processor packed inside, coming from MediaTek.

The mobile phone is also available with 512MB of RAM, as well as with 4GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes, and a 1600 mAh battery.

The specifications list of ZTE Blade C also includes a 3-megapixel photo snapper on the back, as well as Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity, and Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform loaded on top.

The ZTE Blade III Pro (V889F) was made available with a 4-inch WVGA display, as well as with a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8225 processor, and with 512MB of RAM packed inside.

The smartphone also features 4GB of internal memory and a microSD memory card slot, a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and a 1600 mAh battery. According to UnwiredView, the phone runs under Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (based on its specs, we can expect an update to Jelly Bean as well).

The ZTE Blade C is available for purchase at 1,280 HKD ($165 / €126), while the ZTE Blade III Pro has been released at 1,500 HKD ($193 / €146).

Apparently, the Chinese mobile phone maker has yet to provide specific info on its plans on bringing the two smartphones to shelves in other countries beside those in Asia. However, chances are that it will make the move in the not too distant future, so stay tuned to learn additional details on the matter.
