The handset packs Android 4.1, dual-core CPU, 13MP camera

Wireless carrier Sprint is reportedly getting ready for the launch of a new Android-based ZTE smartphone, one that sports the name of ZTE Vital, and which can be admired in the leaked photos attached to this post.

According to Engadget, which posted the images, the upcoming mobile phone will land on shelves with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor inside, as well as with 1GB of RAM.

Furthermore, the device will sport 8GB of internal memory, microSD memory card slot, a 2500mAh battery, and a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back.

ZTE Vital is also said to sport Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform on top, with no apparent customized UI, as well as support for Sprint’s 4G LTE network. A promo video with the smartphone is also available, embedded below.
