Chinese company ZTE has just announced the upcoming availability of the V81 Android tablet. The slate is expected to hit shelves in the coming weeks for a price that will be unveiled closer to launch. According to
UnwiredView, ZTE V81 will ship with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and packs a mildly powerful 1.4 GHz dual-core processor.
The tablet embeds 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.
ZTE V81 sports an 8-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (1024 x 768 pixel) resolution, as well as dual cameras (3-megapixel rear photo snapper and VGA front-facing camera).
Other highlights of the tablet include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and HSPA (21Mbps) support, along with HDMI, GPS and 3700 mAh Li-Ion battery.
