Chinese handset maker ZTE has just announced the upcoming availability of six new Android smartphones in India.

ZTE Grand X Quad Lite, Blade G2, Blade L, Blade C, Blade E and Kis Flex will be available in India in the coming days via authorized resellers across the country.

According to AndroidOS, the cheapest of the six is the ZTE Kis Flex, which will be sold for just Rs 5,799 outright ($95/€75).

This seems a bit overpriced considering that the phone is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread and packs a 1 GHz single-core processor, along with 256MB of RAM and 512MB of internal memory. There’s also a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 1200 mAh Li-Ion battery.

Then, there’s the ZTE Blade C that comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and has been priced at Rs 7,599 ($125/€95).

The device is powered by a single-core CPU clocked at 1GHz, which is complemented by 512MB of RAM. It also sports a 3-megapixel camera and a high-capacity 2,000 mAh Li-Ion battery.

The Blade G2 is another ZTE smartphone that runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform. The handset will be available in India for Rs 11,599 ($195/€145) and comes with a 1GHz quad-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage and a 5-megapixel main camera.

Next in line, there is the ZTE Blade E, which costs Rs 11,999 ($200/€150) off contract and features a large 4.5-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display that supports 540 x 960 pixels resolution.

The phone is delivered with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system onboard. Hardware-wise, the smartphone packs a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory. There’s also a 5-megapixel rear photo snapper.

The ZTE Blade L will be up for grabs for Rs 12,599 ($210/€160) and features a 4.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution. It also sports a 5-megapixel photo snapper, 4GB of storage, 512MB of RAM and 1.2 GHz dual-core CPU.

Last but not least, the most expensive ZTE smartphone announced today is the Grand X Quad Lite. The phone has been priced at Rs 14,999 ($250/€190) and comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean onboard, as well as 1.2 GHz quad-core processor.

ZTE Grand X Quad Lite features dual-SIM support and packs 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory and a large 4.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 540 x 960 pixels resolution.
