Chinese mobile phone maker ZTE is reportedly gearing up for the launch of the first smartphone in the world to sport 4GB of RAM inside, featuring the name of ZTE U9810.

No official info on the matter has been provided as of now, but chances are that the rumor will pan out, and that 4GB of RAM will indeed be included in this 5-inch HD behemoth.

Furthermore, the smartphone is rumored to pack support for 4G LTE connectivity inside, and to arrive on shelves with TD-SCDMA, WCDMA and GSM bands as well, GizChina reports.

Allegedly, the phone will also include a 1.7GHz dual-core processor inside, along with 16GB of internal memory and a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back. A front camera for video calling is also said to be included in the package, along with Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform.
