Windows Phone Mango, the new mobile operating system flavor from Microsoft, is set to arrive on shelves on new devices in the coming weeks, and one of these phones will be a ZTE device, supposedly called Tania.

The new mobile phone just been officially announced, and it already emerged into the wild on photos, complemented by a series of details on what it should include when released.

ZTE is one of the handset vendors who announced plans to offer support for Microsoft's new Mango platform release when it is made available this fall, and it seems that the company is close to launching their first such smartphone.

At the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference 2011, ZTE offered a glimpse of this device, but it was only at the 2011 PT/EXPOT COMM China on Sunday that the new mobile phone was formally introduced, liveside.net reports.

Dubbed ZTE Tania, the mobile phone will arrive on shelves as one of the affordable Mango smartphones, though it will still have appealing features to offer.

The handset is powered by a 1Ghz application processor, complemented by 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of internal memory.

The new device features a 4.3-inch TFT touchscreen display, capable of delivering an 800 × 480 pixels WVGA resolution and offering multi-touch support.

The specifications list of this handset also includes a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with auto-focus and support for video recording.

Moreover, it will arrive on shelves with UMTS / HSPA + 900/2100MHz bands, as well as with WiFi connectivity capabilities, and with a built-in GPS receiver, with A- GPS.

As the specs show, this is one of the new Windows Phone Mango handsets that should arrive on shelves at an affordable price tag, being aimed mainly at the mass market.

For the time being, however, no specific details on when the new mobile phone might arrive on shelves have emerged, so stay tuned for more info on the matter.
