Cricket is back with yet another Android smartphone that supports the unlimited Muve Music service, the ZTE Score. This is the third handset that is delivered with Cricket's music service and the second Android phone to feature the said service.

Launched back in March, Samsung Suede was the first phone to be fully compatible with Cricket's Muve Music service.

Samsung Vitality came in second, but was touted as the first Android phone to feature the carrier's unlimited music service.

According to Cricket, ZTE Score is the seventh smartphone to be included in Cricket's portfolio and the first phone manufactured by ZTE launched by the carrier.

In addition, Cricket is the first to make the ZTE Score available to customers who want to purchase a budget Android phone that supports Muve Music service.

ZTE is pleased to work with Cricket to provide its customers with new devices that provide the best of today’s technology at an accessible price point. The ZTE Score, powered by Android and an ideal platform for Muve Music, is a prime example of a feature-rich, affordable smartphone that will help consumers enhance their mobile lifestyle,” said Lixin Cheng, CEO, ZTE USA and President, North America Region, ZTE.

Unlike Samsung Vitality, which is a mid-budget smartphone, ZTE Score has little to offer when it comes to performance.

Although the phone comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread on board, ZTE Score is powered by a slow 600 MHz processor and features a 3.5-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen display.

With a bar form factor, ZTE Score only offers the advantages of a virtual QWERTY keyboard, including XT9 Trace for easy text entry.

The handset is 3G compatible and comes with a 3.2-megapixel camera with camcorder and Wi-Fi connectivity.

ZTE Score is available for purchase for a suggested retail price of $129.99 (about 96 EUR) in Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile locations across the United States.
