Chinese mobile phone maker ZTE might soon bring to the market in the United States a new high-end smartphone, none other than the Nubia Z5, which has already received approvals from the FCC.

The smartphone was spotted on FCC’s website featuring model number SRQ-NX501 and packing support for GSM and WCDMA networks.

The listing also unveiled Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity included inside the new device, but no further details on its capabilities have been unveiled.

However, GSMInsider has it that the device might sport a Snapdragon 800 processor inside, which would make it more powerful than the Chinese version (this model features a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU).

The specs list of the phone would also include a 5-inch full HD touchscreen, 2GB of RAM, and a 13-megapixel camera on the back. It is expected to run under Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.
