Chinese mobile phone maker ZTE was recently rumored to plan the launch of an Android-based 5.7-inch smartphone called ZTE N988 in the not too distant future, and what appear to be leaked photos with the device are now available for your viewing pleasure.

The handset is supposedly packing an Nvidia Tegra 4 processor inside (though a Qualcomm quad-core CPU was also rumored for it), paired with 2GB of RAM, and has already received the necessary approvals in China.

Rumor has it that the new device would arrive on shelves with a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and the aforementioned leaked images with it appear to confirm that, as GizChina reports.

For the time being, however, no official confirmation on the existence of this smartphone has emerged, and we’ll have to wait for a formal announcement on it to be made to learn more on what it will have to offer.
