ZTE is back with its previously rumored V987 that we reported on about a month ago. This time, the smartphone appeared at TENAA, which means that it should go official pretty soon.

The first press render of the V987 has just been published by evleaks along with its official name: ZTE Grand X Quad.

We already know most of the phone’s specs sheet from the previous leak, but TENAA (Chinese regulatory commission) has just confirmed some of them.

ZTE Grand X Quad runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform and comes equipped with a 1.2 GHz MediaTek MT6589 processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

The phone boasts a large 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution, as well as dual cameras (8-megapixel main photo snapper and 1-megapixel front-facing camera).

The Grand X Quad offers dual-SIM (GSM/WCDMA) capability and will go on sale in China for around $275/€210.
