ZTE has become one of the top 5 handset manufacturers over the past two years. To strengthen its presence on the US market, the company has unveiled a dedicated website meant to ease the communication with customers in North America. To prove its commitment to the US market, ZTE has recently confirmed the launch of the new Style S Android smartphone and the Android Honeycomb tablet going under the name of Light in the second half of 2011.

Both devices will be officially introduced through ZTE's new US website at a later date. The site can be accessed at www.zteusa.com, and seems to be complementary to its corporate portal at www.zte.com.cn.

Among the most interesting information offered by the company through its newly launched website, one can notice mobile device support, channel partner opportunities, as well as information about ZTE Corporation and its subsidiary, ZTE USA.

Access to quality information about who we are and what we do is key for ZTE establishing its brand here in the US,” said Mr. Lixin Cheng, CEO of ZTE USA and president of the North America region. “We believe that the launching ZTEUSA.com will further improve our communication with the US market on our solutions and offerings, and it is another important milestone of ZTE building US based operations to support US customers.”

ZTE’s USA dedicated website is divided into five sections including Mobile Devices, System Products, Customer and Technical Support, About ZTE and Careers.

Corporate visitors can also learn the benefits of becoming a channel sales partner of ZTE USA via “ZTE USA Channel Partners.”

As one of the leading manufacturers of affordable smartphones, ZTE was ranked fourth in global phone hierarchy, in 2010, according to IDC's Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker.

Surprisingly, the company managed to overpass popular brands such as Apple and RIM, which were placed on fifth and sixth place, respectively.
