Chinese mobile phone maker ZTE is pushing its smartphones to more markets out there, and the company has just confirmed the availability of two such devices on various markets in Europe.

The first of the two is the ZTE Blade L2, a smartphone running under the Android operating system, which is set to become available for purchase in Germany, Slovakia, UK and other European markets later this year.

As AndroidOS notes, the mobile phone is already up for grabs in Spain and Greece, but ZTE wants to increase sales, and expanding its availability should help in this regard.

The phone has been made official with a 5-inch touchscreen display, as well as with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM, which should make it an appealing handset for users on a budget.

Moreover, the device arrives on shelves with 4GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes, and a 2000mAh battery.

The specification list of this smartphone also includes a 5-megapixel rear camera, a VGA front camera, and Google’s Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system loaded on top.

“At ZTE, it’s no secret that we pride ourselves on the affordability of our smartphone handsets that makes smartphone technology available to everyone,” AO Wen, General Manager of ZTE Handset European Operation Office, says.

“We’ve had huge success with our Blade series to date in Europe, and we’re excited to introduce the latest edition. We’re confident that the ZTE Blade L2 will offer our ever-more discerning customers across Europe a stylish and high performance device at the right price.”

As for the ZTE Open C, the handset has gone up for grabs with the Firefox OS loaded on top and can be purchased via eBay in both Europe and the United States.

It sports a 4-inch touchscreen, a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of internal memory. Moreover, it comes with a microSD memory card slot, a 3-megapixel camera, and a 1400mAh battery inside.

“We are excited to work together with Mozilla and eBay to offer the ZTE Open C to consumers globally, following our successful collaboration last year,” Adam Zeng, CEO of ZTE Mobile Devices, states.

“ZTE will continue to make a comprehensive range of innovative devices available to appeal to consumers who demand great user experience and performance, at different price points.”

Both ZTE Blade L2 and ZTE Open C sport affordable price tags, designed to make them highly popular among users on a budget.
