ZOTAC International announced the launch of its latest NVIDIA-based motherboard, the nForce 630i-ITX WiFi, a mini-ITX form factor board. The new product comes in a small form but is capable of delivering leveraged performance levels. The new ZOTAC nForce 630i-ITX WiFi includes all the power of the NVIDIA GeForce 7 series graphics coupled with Intel Core 2 processors wireless network connectivity into a single 170mm2 package. The integrated 802.11b/g WiFi allows the motherboard to connect to wireless networks and eliminates the hassles of wires or external wireless cards.

“Wireless networks in homes are becoming quite popular. Our new ZOTAC nForce 630i-ITX WiFi allows users to add another system to their home or office and connect it to the network without installing additional network cabling,” said Carsten Berger, marketing director, ZOTAC International.

The board includes an NVIDIA GeForce 7100 graphics processor which features DirectX9 support with Shader Model 3.0 compatibility. The GPU is Microsoft Windows Vista Premium ready and can deliver a high-performance Vista experience with the new Aero user interface. The board also features HDCP compliant DVI output to connect to specific digital flat panel displays. The HDCP compliance is meant to ensure the board can easily play protected digital videos. It also has a DVI-to-HDMI adapter allowing for easy connectivity with high-definition television sets.

The included NVIDIA nView multi-display technology offers dual monitor support on the ZOTAC nForce 630i-ITX WiFi, enabling extended desktop or clone configurations for maximum display flexibility. The board is compatible with Intel socket LGA775 processors – Intel Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Quad, Pentium and Celeron, and can meet a wide range of demands. It can also be coupled with the latest Penryn-based 45nm models (E5x00, E8x00, Q9x00 series), offering maximum compatibility and performance.

The new motherboard comes with DDR2-800 memory support, offering more performance for the Intel Socket LGA775 processors. The ZOTAC nForce 630i-ITX WiFi also features expansion capabilities with one PCI Express x1 slot, eight USB ports (six on the back panel, two via internal header), two SATA 3.0 Gbps ports and one ATA133 port.

“The ZOTAC nForce 630i-ITX WiFi allows users to enjoy the small size of the mini-ITX form factor while maintaining the same performance of systems that occupy much more space,” added Berger. The company offers extended warranty for the board.
