Today, Zen mobile announced the availability of its Ultraphone U4 handset in India, with a price tag of Rs 6,499 ($120 / €91) attached to it.

The mobile phone comes with a 4.3-inch touchscreen display that can deliver a WVGA resolution and sports a 1GHz processor inside, BGR India reports.

Furthermore, the new device was launched with a 3-megapixel photo snapper on the back, complemented by a 1.3MP front camera for making video calls.

Featuring Wi-Fi and EDGE connectivity, dual-SIM capabilities, and FM Radio, the new mobile phone runs under Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. ZEN Ultraphone U4 is powered by a 1,500 mAh battery.

Unfortunately, the mobile phone does not offer support for 3G networks, and chances are that it will never be upgraded to a newer flavor of the Android operating system.
