Yuandao is a pretty well-known device manufacturer in their home country, China and recently a few pics of their new tablet product have been making an appearance on the web.
The device is called the Yuandao Vido W11 and is a Windows 8-based slate. Lately the wave of Bay Trail-powered tablets rolling out of Asia seems to be never-ending and the W11 is one to abide to standards.
The tablet has a 10.1-inch display, but the resolution is kept at pretty uninspiring levels offering just 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, reports 1Pad. Information is not set in stone, at the moment, but the W11 will probably draw power from a Bay Trail processor combined with 2GB of RAM and backed up by either 32GB / 64GB of storage.
Compared to its predecessor W10, the W11 now brings to the tablet 3G functionality, GPS as well as the old Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. The slate will also boast dual cameras (2MP on the back and 2MP in front), but there’s no indication whether the W11 will come with a keyboard dock or not.
Anyway, its design appears to sport an aluminum magnesium unibody combo, while the antenna is made of plastic. Expect the device to sell for around $250 / €181.
