Yu-Gi-Oh! Nightmare Troubadour is a video game developed and published by Japanese company Konami back in 2005, exclusively for the Nintendo DS handheld device, part of the highly successful Yu-Gi-Oh! series of games, which is based on popular anime and manga franchise from Japan and continues from the Virtual World arc in the animated TV series, following the Battle City plot line.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Nightmare Troubadour has the same basic elements as any other Yu-Gi-Oh! titles released before it in the long-running series, with the player needing to collect unique cards with monsters or other creatures printed on them and then fight against opponents and enemies in special duels in order to prove his worth, but also introduces new control schemes using the DS' special features, like the touchscreen, and cards from the Egyptian God sets, which didn't appear in other titles from the series
