Ladies and gentlemen, royal subject and baby bump watchers, today, for the first time since the pregnancy was announced, we have photographic evidence of Duchess Kate Middleton's baby bump. This is a moment widely anticipated by many but, unfortunately, it's not as grand as we'd all imagined by now.

Kate finally got over her extreme morning sickness bouts and resumed her royal duties, stepping out in public after a months-long absence during which she is said to have braved her illness and even made the decision to have more children in the future – the rumors state she wants four by the age of 36 in order to maximize William's chances of becoming the next King of England.

The 32-year-old Duchess of Cambridge was photographed at the Place2Be Wellbeing in Schools Award on Wednesday, November 19, and on this occasion her clothes revealed her tiny baby bump.

Keep in mind that Kate Middleton is about 4 months along in her pregnancy, so by everyone's calculations, her bump should be a lot bigger, especially if we're to lend credence to the rumors that she's pregnant with twin girls. However, the photos show Kate has just a little bump at the moment, the kind most of us would get after a hearty meal.

But if experience has taught us anything, it’s that Kate's thin frame manages to somehow hide her belly until the later stages of the pregnancy when it truly becomes noticeable. So small was Kate's bump that she was still able to wear normal clothes, opting to show up a polka dot black top and a metallic blue Jenny Packham skirt, according to Us Weekly.

Fans are hoping that Kate's pregnancy will become more visible soon

The baby or babies (it's still unconfirmed at this point) is supposed to be born sometime in April next year, so don't worry, they'll be plenty of time to go baby-bump watching as far as Kate Middleton is concerned, in case you didn't get a good look back when she was carrying Prince George.

The Duchess is scheduled to make a trip to the States with her husband in December, to Brooklyn to be precise, which isn't an area generally visited by royal figures. In fact, William and Kate will be attending a basketball game while in country, something that no member of the British royal family has ever done.

Initially, it was speculated that Will and Kate showed up after NBA bosses gave them a hefty check for their charity (rumors said something about a whopping million being thrown on the table), but those rumors were disproved and it looks like Will and Kate will do it simply because they love sport and because they particularly wanted to see LeBron James live in action.
