The intuitively-called YouTube for Windows 8 comes with options that allow you to subscribe to your favorite channels, find videos and channels with voice search and instant search suggestions, share videos via Google+, email, Facebook and Twitter, and sign-in to manage your playlists.
While the app's name might trick you into believing that this is the official YouTube client, it's not. This little app was previously called YouTubeArt and might have to change its name once again if Google or Microsoft think that it uses a misleading one.
“YouTubeArt your way. Get the YouTubeArt app for Windows 8.1. Instantly become the DJ, learn Kung Fu and easily share with friends. Catch up on your favorite videos and playlists from around the world on the couch, in the kitchen or on the go,” the app description, which uses the old name, reads.
Of course, it can be installed on both desktops and tablets, so you can download YouTube for Windows 8 at any time and see what it's up to.
