The official YouTube application for Android devices has just been updated with visual improvements and numerous bug fixes.

Developers have confirmed that the application’s user interface has been refreshed for tablets boasting 10-inch displays, though smartphones still run on the same UI.

However, these are not the only changes included in this update. According to devs, the update includes lots of bug fixes for all devices as well, though no additional details have been provided.

Make sure you update to the latest version of YouTube, especially if you own a 10-inch tablet, and stay tuned for more info on future updates.

YouTube 4.2.16 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 and up. Check it out here.
