YouTube is starting to make a habit out of streaming live events and has a nick for concerts in particular. Now, for the second year in a row, YouTube is live streaming the Coachella festival all through the weekend.

Coachella kicks off the festival season, but if you can't make it there in person, well, if you did you probably wouldn't be reading this anyway, YouTube has your back with three streams from three different stages.

With multiple streams, you're sure to find some band you like at any given moment, though you won't be able to catch all of them.

"Since 2001, the Coachella Music and Arts festival has brought thousands of fans to southern California to kick off the music festival season in style," YouTube wrote.

"For the second year, YouTube will be live streaming the action, with a three day broadcast of the festival, presented by State Farm," it said.

The stream is just about to start, at 3:50pm PT / 6:50 pm ET today, that's 10.50 pm UTC for those of us lucky or unlucky enough to have not been born in the US.

"We’re not sure if it’s the promise of a weekend in Palm Springs, but Coachella always manages to pull together one the most impressive and diverse festival line-ups," it added.

"YouTube will be streaming more than 60 artists over the weekend, including The Black Keys, Swedish House Mafia, Miike Snow, Andrew Bird, Florence + The Machine, and one of this year’s biggest breakthrough acts, Gotye," YouTube listed.

Like last year, YouTube is going with a single sponsor for the event, but you should be able to enjoy the music fairly undisturbed by ads. There's also an easy way of scheduling a reminder if you only want to check out your favorite bands, you can add an event to Google Calendar or iCal from the Coachella YouTube channel.
