Surprisingly, YouTube, which has 28 times more views than the next site in line, is still the biggest video site in the US and the world.
ComScore's latest data shows that, indeed, the impossible hasn't happened this month either and YouTube is still the synonym for online video. It had a little over 150 million unique visitors from the US in August, almost three times more than Yahoo and Microsoft, which came in second and third. The number of visitors is impressive, but it's nothing compared to the number of videos YouTube serves every month. The site had 13.7 billion views in August from the US alone. Yahoo only managed 529 million in that same time period. The second most popular site, by views, is AOL, across all properties, which managed to get 725 million.
