Google’s YouTube Remote application for Android devices has just been updated to version 3.1.0. Although the changes are minor, it appears that some users reported that the update messed up the application.

YouTube Remote 3.1.0 brings shuffle queue and several bug fixes. That’s all. However, according to some users who updated to the latest version, the application disconnects constantly and upon reconnecting it starts to play a random video.

Another user also notes that the remote app has more bugs and features, so it’s recommended to restrain from updating to version 3.1.0 until Google delivers a new update to fix these problems.

The latest version of YouTube Remote is now available as a free download in the Android Market and is fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.0 and up.
