YouTube RT, one of the most popular YouTube clients available on Windows 8, was recently removed from the Store, so early adopters of Microsoft’s new OS had no other option than to switch to a different app.

The program is now back in the Store under a different name, but with the same great feature. Hyper is “the most advanced way to view YouTube videos on your Windows 8 device,” the official description published in the Store, allowing users to watch videos in SD, 720p and full HD 1080p.

What’s more, it lets you download these clips and watch them later without the need for an Internet connection.

Last but not least, Hyper allows users to sign in and access subscribed videos and playlist, while also packing dedicated options to comment and rate videos.
