The Xbox 360 game console is quite limited to the content provided by the Redmond company Microsoft through the Xbox Live platform. Because numerous users were requiring YouTube support for the game console, the software companies started developing several projects that would be able to match their needs. This is how YouTube Driver appeared. Bryan Fleming managed to build an interesting technology that allows the users to view YouTube clips and view them on their TV. Basically, it is only a PC-compatible software solution that downloads the clips published on YouTube and enhances the transfer on Xbox 360. In fact, all it does is convert the YouTube videos into the WMV format to become playable on the game console.

The product works quite easy because all a consumer needs to do is to install the software, open Internet Explorer, browse to a certain YouTube click, push the YouTube Driver button and that's all. The clip will be automatically transferred on the computer to be copied on the Xbox 360 game console.

According to Bryan Fleming, who had an interview with the folks from Xbox 360 Wire, the application will soon include other video sharing services. In addition, the product will be compatible with Firefox, while a potential Mac version is still in talks. At this time, the product works with Windows XP and Vista and can be acquired for $49.99.

"I really believe YouTube Driver lets you look into the future. You find the most obscure videos on there and watch them on TV. I don't really watch too much TV anymore. "Nothing is on". With YouTube I can watch anything I want when I want," Bryan Fleming said for Xbox 360 Wire.

"YouTube Driver is a new undertaking. As customers request more sites I'll add them in. Right now I want the software to do 1 thing and do it very well - Get Videos off YouTube and let you watch them on your TV."
