YouTube has recently announced the launch of its latest service called YouTube Live, which will support streaming live events from all over the world.

There is no doubt that YouTube is currently the largest website hosting user-recorded and uploaded videos, along with movie trailers or music clips.

Occasionally, this platform has not only been used to share past experiences, but also to broadcast live events, such as concerts, interviews or sports events.

According to their blog post, the new service '[…] will integrate live streaming capabilities and discovery tools directly into the YouTube platform for the first time.'

In order to be able to enjoy the new features, users will need to navigate to a dedicated webpage that will display the most interesting events that will be streamed by YouTube.

All those who want to make sure that they will not miss the next concert of their favorite band or the upcoming match of their preferred team will have the possibility to subscribe to various partners and be notified of any relevant events.

Another novelty revealed today by the YouTube team is that certain select partners 'with accounts in good standing' will be given the chance to stream live contents on the website.

In the months to come, more and more partners will be able to broadcast live streams from their own custom channels.

This process will take time as YouTube will try to make sure that quality standards are met by all the participants.

As they declared, '[i]n order to ensure a great live stream viewing experience, we'll roll this offering out incrementally over time.'

Until more members will be allowed to live stream from their channels, users can go to the YouTube Live page, try out the newly-launched service and provide feedback so that it can be improved and enhanced.
