As you surely know, TestTube is the testing platform available on YouTube and inspired by Google's Labs that was designed especially to allow users and employees to test all the features before they are included in the final product. Although the service was released some time ago, the first testing session started today with a brand new ability entitled AudioSwap. This new feature allows users to replace the song of their video using an impressive collection provided by the video service containing numerous genres, artists and songs.

"Looking for a cool soundtrack for your video? We've made arrangements with artists and record labels so that you can add their songs to your YouTube videos. You get a cool soundtrack, the artists get attribution on your video, and everyone wins! We'll be adding more artists and songs as the feature develops, so check back for your favorite bands and singers. Please Note: When you add a new soundtrack, the audio track on your video will be permanently replaced. You may want to upload a few videos to experiment with," it is mentioned in the description of the service.

I tested the new feature and it is incredible easy to use while the results are amazing. All you need to do is to select the uploaded video you want to edit, choose a genre, artist and song and your job is finished. You're then able to preview the final version of the video and publish it if you consider the soundtrack is matching with the movie. If you want to test AudioSwap, you should visit the following link but remember that you're able to use the new feature only if you have already uploaded at least one video.
