Viacom is an important company that currently owns MTV, iFilm, Comedy Central, BET and other firms that are continuously attracting customers. As you might know, YouTube is a service owned by Google that allows you to upload, share and comment videos with other members of the community. Because YouTube is based on a huge community of users, the solution currently owns an incredible database with movies from all categories. For example, you can find interesting videos displaying banned commercials but also useful learning English methods.

Viacom
is one of the most powerful video providers for YouTube, offering more than 100.000 clips and shows with the products provided by the company. That’s why they decided to request Google a part of their revenues, considering that it’s unfair that the search giant receives all the praises for a service based on videos provided by the company. Because Google refused to pay the amount of money requested by Viacom, YouTube must remove all the videos provided by the company.

"YouTube and Google retain all of the revenue generated from this practice, without extending fair compensation to the people who have expended all of the effort and cost to create it," the statement said. “It's unfortunate that Viacom will no longer be able to benefit from YouTube's passionate audience which has helped to promote many of Viacom's shows," YouTube said in a statement. "We will continue to work with content partners large and small to provide them with a platform to promote their content and engage and grow their audiences,” Clickz reported.

This is not the first loss recorded by the company because Google was often affected by multiple lawsuits filed by persons or companies that sustained YouTube published movies without their authorization. The most known case concerns Daniella Cicareli, Ronaldo’s ex-wife that sued YouTube for publishing videos without her authorization.
