Since the Google acquisition in October 2006, YouTube was continuously in the spotlights for numerous lawsuits against the company, the search giant being accused of publishing videos without authorization. Today, it seems like the video service is really important for some of the users because a woman that fights against cancer published a movie to present its story and to find a match to save her life.

The amazing story began when Leigh Buckley, a wife and the mother of two girls, was diagnosed with leukemia, the woman starting treatments against cancer. Although she lost all the hair, she continued to believe that she's able to save her life and published a video on the popular online service YouTube to find a match able to help her and to offer more information about the disease. At this time, the video has 5.022 views with 7 comments and 11 users that made it favorite.

"There's a lot of people praying for us. E-mails and cards continue to flood in -- (from) people we don't even know. I want people to know that they can put their name on the registry and help me, but they can help a lot of other people," said Buckley according to Local6.com.

This is almost the first time when YouTube is really useful for some users because since the Google acquisition, it was only the defendant in numerous lawsuits. Although the search giant tries to pay off the $1.6 billion investment, the company was recently demanded by Viacom, the provider of Comedy Central and MTV, to remove almost 100.000 clips from the page. Viacom considered that Google receives praises for the content provided by other publishers and decided to remove its videos from YouTube's page.

If you want to view the movie posted by Leigh Buckley, you can find it on this page and if you can help, don't wait any longer.
