The service is accused of copyright infringement

At this time, YouTube is surely the single service that is continuously present in the court because Google is really assaulted with a huge number of copyright complaints. Today, new accusations for copyright infringement are launched against the video service after YouTube published numerous videos from the Cricket World Cup. The International Cricket Council ordered the search giant to remove all the videos from the page because they are not allowed to publish the clips as long as they are the exclusive rights holder.

It seems like YouTube already started to remove the movies but several Cricket World Cup clips are still available on the main page of the service. Although the international organization didn't sustain if they intend to file a lawsuit against Google, their accusations are the last ones in a series of an impressive assaults over the online video sharing service.

As you surely know, YouTube was recently accused by copyright infringement by a lot of companies that also filed lawsuits against the video service. In the past, Daniela Cicarelli, Ronaldo's ex-wife, filed a complaint against Google's product because it published videos without authorization. A Brazilian court closed the local version of the product until the company removes all the videos with the model.

Recently, YouTube was attacked by one of the most impressive online lawsuits in the history because Viacom is requiring $1 billion in damages. The owner of MTV and Comedy Central filed a complaint for the same reason, sustaining YouTube published videos without their approval. In a statement published today, Viacom added they decided to sue Google after they realized the video service removes a lot of pornography and violent material while their content is still available on the page.
