The online video sharing platform YouTube is now attacked by an avalanche of criticism coming from Germany because the local authorities are criticizing the Mountain View company for posting nazi clips on its page. According to Reuters, these videos include "a 1940 anti-Semitic propaganda film "Jud Suess" and two music videos of outlawed German far-right rock band Landser." It seems like some of the movies were posted on YouTube one year ago but the authorities discovered them only now while the German side of Google refused to comment the problem.

"Report Mainz, which is due to air the program, said in a statement that Social Democrat (SPD) parliamentarian Dieter Wiefelspuetz said airing the clips on YouTube in Germany was scandalous. Report Mainz quoted him as saying: "Publishing these films amounts to aiding and abetting incitement of the people." Report Mainz also said that Germany's Central Council of Jews Vice President Salomon Korn was considering pressing charges against Google Germany," Reuters reported.

This is not the first time when YouTube is criticized because of the content published on the official page of the service. As you probably heard, numerous companies sued YouTube for copyright infringement after the users uploaded clips on the website. However, the most interesting case was the one involving Daniela Cicarelli, Ronaldo's ex-wife, who sued Google for publishing videos without authorization.

If you didn't hear about it, Daniela Cicarelli sent Google to the judge and demanded the removal of the clips from YouTube. The Mountain View company agreed with the removal, sustaining the employees already deleted them but the users uploaded them back. Daniela Cicarelli continued with the lawsuit but, after some months, the judge ordered that Google cannot be accused of copyright infringement. Moreover, Ronaldo's ex-wife was forced to pay all the lawsuit fees.
