Google is a firm believer in 'iterate fast, iterate often.' As such, most of its products get a updated one small feature at a time, YouTube included, making it hard to keep up.

Thankfully, YouTube has provided a round-up of the most recent updates and changes to showcase what's new on the site.

The site is now available in more languages; Arabic, Bulgarian, Lithuanian, Romanian, Slovenian, Ukrainian and Vietnamese, have been added. This brings it to a total of 34 languages in which YouTube has been translated.

The YouTube Partner program is available in more countries as well, with users in Argentina, Sweden, New Zealand and the Czech Republic now being able to get paid for the videos they create.

The YouTube video editor, which has been available for several months now, has been improved enabling you to create and edit videos right inside your browser without the need for dedicated software and very little knowledge.

The editor now supports transitions, arguably one of the most basic features that any video editor should have. You can now create crossfades, wipes and slides between video portions.

MySpace has been added to the list of supported Autoshare services, Facebook, Twitter, Buzz, Reader and Orkut.

The recently launched YouTube Charts feature has a new filter option enabling users to check out the popular videos from a number of categories like Comedy, Education, Games and so on.

The "Add-to playlist" widget has been created to replace the simple "+" button on video thumbnails. The new widget, as previewed here, enables you to create new playlists, add the video to existing ones, to your Favorite videos or to the current queue.

Also new on YouTube is a rather interesting change in design. Everyone's familiar with the concept of visited links and plenty of websites out there use different styling to let users known they've used that link before.

YouTube though, for the sake of consistent design didn't do that. Now, videos you've played before will be clearly marked as such in the search results.

You can read about a number of other small updates in the post on the YouTube blog.
