A new flavor of the YouTube application is now available for download for the owners of Windows Phone 8 devices, only several days after the app received a major update.

Up for grabs as version 3.0.0.1, the new app release supposedly brings along fixes for some of the issues that were found to affect users’ experience in the previous release.

Only the Windows Phone 8 flavor of the app was updated, though a new release is expected to land on Windows Phone 7.5 handsets as well.

“Pin any video, playlist, channel, and even search queries to Live Tiles. Live Tiles flip to show YouTube’s most popular videos or your subscriptions’ latest uploads. YouTube for Windows Phone is also integrated with Kid’s Corner, so you can ensure your kids are watching age-appropriate videos,” the app’s description reads.
