"Thus spake the UPS"

Now, this one is a real surprise: an UPS that looks like a dice and has loudspeakers inside. Sounds like a bit too much, doesn't it? Well, it may be actually so but the UPS manufacturer Remio decided such a thing is actually feasible and even more, marketable.[admark=1]

Since the product is quite new, no one can tell about its success so far - this is one thing to stay tuned for, especially that we're speaking multiple completely different technologies bundled in the same case.

If it had been for the UPS only, the Remio HC looking-like-a-giant dice would have been an instant bestseller because a lot of both older and young people would have gone for it (including me) - I mean, who would prefer a grey, non-personal UPS over a shiny black or red giant dice UPS?

Now, UPS craps is one thing, singing UPS craps is a slightly different one. Indeed the Remio HC sports two speakers that will play the signal you're feeding them - there are both jack and USB ports for your digital audio player, for sound and even for recharging the batteries in your portable devices!

To take things even further, the Remio HC sports protection for other home appliances such as phone, fax, modem and even TV surge via the RF coaxial jacks. Not only will your UPS look way better than any other similar piece of gear but it will also do a whole lot more than the UPS you're currently owning right now. Easily to integrate in any home d?cor, the Remio HC UPS/loudspeaker comes in two nifty finishes: red with white spots and black with white and red spots. Need I say you can't really roll these dice?

As specced by Remio, the HC series sport:

-Full power protection and back up for your equipment -Intelligent microprocessor control -Lightning and surge protection -Output short and over power protection -Smart battery management -USB/SNMP capability -MP3/4 charger -Stereo audio function -RF protection (CATV coaxial jacks).
