The Core V1 can be stacked into dual systems

I've written about my fair share of unusual PC cases, most of which came from Lian Li, but Thermaltake has shown that strange ideas can show up everywhere.

The company has introduced the Core V21 which, on the surface, looks like any other cubic mini PC case. Although a bit more cubic than the alleged cubes that aren't cubes at all.

What sets the newcomer apart from other enclosures, however, is its ability to stack.

You can take two of them and set them on top of the other, turning a mini PC into a full-tower system.

Thus, you can have the main system parts in one case and a complex liquid cooling system in the other, maybe some extra storage.

It would definitely make it easier to create a strong system based on a mini-ITX or micro-ATX case, although bothering to get two cases does raise the question of why you wouldn't just go with a normal tower. But I digress.

The Thermaltake Core V21 quadrate micro M-ATX-based chassis can hold motherboards both horizontally and vertically. Also, there is enough room for 350 mm / 13.77 inch video cards and 185 mm / 7.28 inch CPU coolers.

All in all, it's a real shame that availability and pricing details weren't included in the press release (posted below). I'd have been interested in the idea of owning a computer based on one or two of these things.
