Although something similar was done a few months ago, but with another operating system, a developer thought it would be fun to make Windows Phone look like iOS 7.

We’re not sure how Windows Phone users look at it, but developer Nipun Birla put a lot of work into an iOS 7 launcher, which can be installed on Microsoft’s mobile operating system.

The launcher offers users the option to customize their new iOS homescreen, as well as the Action Center, which can be personalized with quick shortcuts.

Furthermore, users can also change the background wallpaper, as well as the dock and action center colors which match the background.

A wide variety of applications that users can select from has been included as well, along with the usual iOS 7 experience, which Windows Phone users will be able to try out.

The App Corner, Gallery and Action Centre with music buttons, all provide an authentic iOS experience, so Windows Phone users can have a better feel on how it would be to own an iPhone.

This might be the only application that allows Windows Phone users to experience the iOS interface, in case they want to obviously. The same developer did an Android launcher a while ago, which seem to have been successful enough that encourage him to bring the iOS experience on Windows Phone as well.

Windows Phone users may not be so thrilled about installing the app, even if it's free

For the time being, the application hasn’t been reviewed by any Windows Phone users, which might prove that Microsoft fans are extremely loyal to the Redmond-based company and all its products.

It will probably take a few more hours until the first comments on the iOS 7 Launcher application will pop up on Windows Phone Store and it will be very interesting to know users’ opinion.

Obviously, few will be able to tell what the iOS 7 experience feels like on the Windows Phone in comparison with the one on Apple’s iPhone, but many will surely express their feelings towards iOS vs. Windows Phone.

The good news is that those who are serious about using this application are also encouraged by the developer to send their feedback to make it better.

If you hate Apple and iOS so much that anything related is taboo, then you can now download iOS 7 Launcher for Windows Phone for free via Windows Phone Store.

According to the developer, the application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 8 and up (including Windows Phone 8.1).
