The first Starbucks on a train is being debuted in Switzerland with the help of Swiss Federal Railways. The project has been developed as an on-board concept store.

“This is one of the smallest espresso bars and stores we have ever designed and is a result of a unique collaboration of experts, including local designers and engineers from SBB,” Liz Muller, director of concept design for Starbucks, tells Design Boom.

That statement not only says that there are Starbucks locations out there narrower and smaller than the carriage of a train, but that there might be more of these coming.

It seems as though there is a Starbucks at every corner in large cities in the States these days, but I guess that there is a market for bringing it one step further. Soon, we will be riding Starbucks buses to work all across the world.

The Local writes that the train will run starting November 21, across Switzerland. The Starbucks train will run twice a day.
