A new app brings this knowledge universe to your wrist

Teachers supervising tests and exams have something new to worry about when making sure their students aren't cheating or cutting corners.

Android Wear smartwatches might have seemed harmless until now, but with the addition of the dedicated browser, they have become quite a hub for relaying information. While in some scenarios this might be beneficial, in an exam setting these devices could become the perfect tool for fraud.

The newest addition to the Android Wear app ecosystem proves this point even further. A new app called Attopedia has been made available for download, which brings the popular encyclopedia Wikipedia to your wrist.

Using the tiny screen of a smartwatch might not be the most effective way of viewing a content-rich website like Wikipedia, but as counter-intuitive as this might sound, the system actually works.

With Attopedia you can scroll up or down, access menus, or swipe left or right in order to reveal more info. Surely, you might find it hard to get the grip of it at first, but once you get used to it, you won’t have any problems using it.

So, from now on, you’ll be able to amaze people with your general knowledge, especially those who aren't up to speed with smartwatches and the developments in the tech industry. Hopefully, the app won’t find any negative uses like helping students cheat during formal examinations.
