14 DAY TRIAL // It hasn’t even been a full week since Apple rolled out its highly anticipated Watch, which is expected to tear through the competition like mad, and the Android Wear ecosystem is already reacting.
For its first intelligent timepiece Apple designed a completely new user interface, dubbed the digital crown, which provides a fresh way of interacting and browsing with the app environment on your wrist.
The new UI is probably one of the things that make the new Apple Watch so attractive to some, but what if you’re not willing to pay the hefty $350 / €350 price tag for a unit?
The answer might lie with a customization service called WearFaces that lets owners of Android Wear smartwatches create their own custom watch faces.
And just a few days after Apple introduced the Watch, WearFaces has rolled out the PEAR watch faces for Android that well look like they fully copied the UI of the fruity wearable.
