Google Calendar has debuted a very interesting option, the type of thing that seems so obvious only after someone else thinks of it. There is now the option of hiding unusual hours from the calendar, for example during late night or early morning. It's in Google Calendar Labs, which means you won't find it in the regular preferences page, but this type of feature is one that has a high chance of graduating and becoming default.
"How often do you have something scheduled at 3am? What about 10pm? If the answer is almost never, you might want to try out the 'Hide morning and night' lab in Google Calendar," Google's Oleksandr Kyreiev, Software Engineer,
wrote.
The feature is rather easy to use, just move the two sliders up or down to select the hours you don't want displayed. The end result is a smaller calendar that makes it easier to focus on the stuff you actually want to see.
