You Can Be on a Reality Show, Too

As many are anxiously expecting for the fifth season of 'The Simple Life' to begin (people were promised a fight between the two former best friends and, by God, they shall have it!), an announcement posted on the Internet tells us that we too, the regular mortals, can be a part of it.

By that, the post explains, we are to understand that we can be a much more involved part that just tuning in to watch Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie play-pretend in what they call a 'reality show'. We can participate for a cast for the series and, if we pass the test, we are to be included in the show.

'This season on "The Simple Life", we're changing things up a bit. We're looking for passionate, energetic individuals with outgoing personalities who are up for a fun challenge. Even if you think you have the perfect personality for TV...the biggest question remains: can you survive Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie?', the post reads.

Basically, the producers of the show thought that bringing normal people on the series would probably make its two stars shine out even more. The point is, if anybody is interested, you have to make a tape of yourself, talk about your life, hobbies and such for 5 to 10 minutes and then submit it for consideration.

And, if 'The Simple Life' doesn't appeal to you, there's always Steve-O's reality show. His idea is that you should send a tape with one of your friends, the wussiest of all, or with yourself if you be that wussie, and stand the chance of being invited on Steve's show, to confront and overcome their/your inhibitions.

If you're interested in becoming the next reality star, make sure you click here to see where you can send your tape.
