With so many rumors hinting at disappointing Surface RT sales, Microsoft would better come out and reveal some official statistics, just to put things straight in this endless wave of speculation frenzy.

Pacific Crest analyst Brendan Barnicle told Forbes that Microsoft’s Surface RT is only recording disappointing sales, so the company had to adjust its estimates to reflect the weak early figures.

“Based on feedback from component vendors, we are lowering our Surface assumptions going forward, as well as lowering estimates,” the analyst said.

Microsoft, on the other hand, is doing its best to boost Surface RT sales, with the device now arriving at several third-party retailers across the world.

Several stores in the UK, the US and France have already received the device, and more will follow in the next few months, Microsoft guarantees.
