It looks like the Japanese computer hardware manufacturing company Fujitsu is taking the Tablet PC market very seriously, since the company just released a second ultra portable mobile computer, the LifeBook T2010 Tablet PC, after a very short time from the official launch of the LifeBook U810 UMPC.

The Fujitsu LifeBook T2010 Tablet PC will be available in two variants from the point of view of the theft operating systems used, customers being able to select from Microsoft's Windows Vista Business or Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005. On the hardware level, Fujitsu offers several variants of the Tablet PC that are priced from $1,599 to $2,309. The LifeBook uses a big screen for its class, having a 12.1 inch LED backlit WXGA display that is well suited for both indoor and outdoor use thanks to its wide viewing angles. Thanks to a bi-directional hinge design, the screen can be used as a traditional laptop display or it can be configured to cover the entire case in a slated position.

In the processing power department, the Fujitsu tablet PC is well equipped with either an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor Ultra Low Voltage U7600 (ULV for short) that runs at a clock speed of 1.2GHz and has 2MB of L2 cache and a frontside bus frequency of 533MHz, or with the Core 2 Duo Processor Ultra Low Voltage U7500, with a running speed of 1.06GHz, 2MB of second cache memory and a 533MHz FSB. As graphics processing power is not the strong point of the UMPC or Table PC design, the LifeBook uses the Intel X3100 GPU that implements Intel's Clear Video Technology enabling DX10 and MPEG-2 supports, as well as Dynamic Video Memory Technology (DVMT for short).

System memory can be upgraded to reach a maximum 4GB and it is split across two DIMM slots. A dual channel memory configuration is enabled by default, using DDR2 memory with 533MHz support, while the presence of the Intel Turbo Memory technology is optional. The Tablet PC can handle wireless networking thanks to its integrated Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN or Atheros Super AG Wireless LAN adapter, while Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR support is optional. According to the news site DailyTech, the Fujitsu LifeBook T2010 Tablet PC can work up to nine hours with a single 6-cell 5800mAh battery, while the extended 9-cell 8700mAh battery can provide 11 hours of uninterrupted work.
