14 DAY TRIAL // Yelp has an updated iOS client for iPhone and iPad users that offers the ability to write 200 extra characters on top of the previous 300-character allowance. Pretty sweet!
Yelp, the app that lets you search for places to eat, shop, drink, relax and play, has a feature called Tips where you can write tips, of course. Previously, you could only do that in a maximum 300 characters, but now you can use 500.
The developers convey the news to their users in a humorous manner, saying, “Apparently 300 characters per Tip wasn't enough for you to fully express yourself. We dig that. This release gives you 200 more.”
Also added in Yelp 6.5.1, in the “More Reviews” list on iPhone you can now pull down to expose a review search box.
