14 DAY TRIAL // Popular travel companion Yelp has just gotten a leg up on iOS. A new version is out with iPhone user profile pages, a tips section, and new filters for local bar screening.
The new iOS Yelp app features dedicated user profile pages for iPhone owners “with extra bling for those of you who are Elite,” according to the developers.
A “Tip of the Day” section lets you find the best Tips in each city. Your own Tips will be taken into consideration, users who add the first Tip for a business will earn the “First to Tip” honor, says Yelp Inc. Lastly, Yelp 6.4.3 adds a new filter for local bars screening Puppy Bowl IX.
Yelp works with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad, and requires iOS 5.0 or later.
