In an effort to fill seats, vendors are slashing prices for concert tickets in half

It looks as though Kanye West is in a spot of trouble, after the demand for his controversial “Yeezus” tour drops to alarmingly low numbers. In fact, it's so low, that ticket vendors are forced to slash prices by as much as half, just to fill the seats of venue halls.

According to Radar, a concert Kanye had scheduled at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey, is already announcing a “half-off” on all concert tickets, dropping the price from $69 (€50) to $35 (€25.7).

The tickets were first put on sale on February 9, but, judging by this special offer, they didn't sell nearly as many as expected and decided to fill in the seats somehow. It looks as though the tickets that had already been sold were actually grabbed by radio stations who planned on giving them away for publicity.

Kanye's “Yeezus” tour ended last year in December to rather disappointing numbers so it was a real head-scratcher when the rapper announced he would add more dates this year. By the looks of things, sales aren't going his way.

It will be very interesting to see if ticket sales go so low that he has to actually cancel a performance. Kanye will never hear the end of that one.
