Besides improving its powerful download manager for Mac OS X, Speed Download 5, Yazsoft has also recently announced that it is giving away 10 iPhone 3G units to those who register with them. Since you're probably going to end up on Yazsoft’s page in about 2 seconds or so, you should also check out the company's ShareTool, a recently-introduced Mac utility that lets users access all of the Bonjour services on their home network.

For the iPhone giveaway you will be required to enter a valid e-mail address, a user name and a password. “It's time for the ultimate Yazsoft giveaway again,” says the company. “We are very excited to announce that from Sep 1 - Sep 30, 2008, we will be giving 10 people a chance to own a brand new iPhone 3G! No purchase required to enter. Simply click here to submit your email. Winners will be picked by random draw the first week of Oct 2008 and posted here soon thereafter.”

Although the developer mostly emphasizes its download manager and file sharing combo app, Speed Download, ShareTool is yet another useful tool from Yaszoft, which lets you access all of the Bonjour services on your home network from anywhere in the world, including iTunes Music Sharing, Screen Sharing, File Sharing, printing, and more.

Basically, using the software you can listen to your iTunes music library, which resides on your home Mac, when you're at work. Not only that, but you can even control your home computer, executing actions like dragging and dropping files from your home computer to your work machine, all using Yazsoft's ShareTool.

The latest version of ShareTool (1.2.2), updated just this month, sports major new interface changes for a more simplified usage. Remote Printing functionality has been added, as well as a built-in Help menu.

ShareTool Requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later, and is a Universal Binary. A demo version is available.
