It can translate phrases and whole texts from more than 30 languages

The Russian search giant Yandex has just released its translate application for Windows Phone platform. Simply dubbed Translate, the application allows users to translate phrases and whole texts from more than 30 different languages.

According to developers, users will need Internet connection in order for the application to fully work, but keep in mind that previous translation history is stored on the phone, hence it can be accessed in offline mode.

With Yandex, users will be able to translate from the following languages: Russian, English, Ukrainian, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Czech, Swedish, Danish, Bulgarian, Romanian, Serbian, Polish, Belarusian, Portuguese, Croatian, Turkish, Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Greek, Slovak, Slovenian, Albanian, Catalan, Macedonian, Finnish, Hungarian, Norwegian, Armenian, Azerbaijani, and Georgian.

You can now download Translate for Windows Phone 1.0 for free via Windows Phone Store. The application is only compatible with devices powered by Windows Phone 8 and up.
