Yamaha Unveils Wussy EC-02 Lite Eco-bike! Daredevils, Smell The O-zone...and Tune Your iPods!

The truth is Yamaha has been showing off with a version of their EC-02 electric scooter that comes with a port for connecting up your iPod and a scooter's integrated stereo speaker system. As for its dimensions, the bike weighs 47 kilos with the battery integrated in the system. It has a transmission type using a planetary reduction gear.

However, I cannot help thinking this might actually be the perfect device for people to take on thir way to the office, while listening to some classical music. While the fact that it is fully electric is great for the environment, but not for you if you're one of the Easy Riders daredevils. This bike can reach a range of just 40 miles and a top speed of only 18mph.

If you're wondering about the pricing and availability details, the Yamaha EC-02 is said to be priced at approximately $2000, being available only in Japan, for the time being. So, you'd better shave up, put some office clothes on, and smell the ozone. It's quit healthy, you know.
